Korean children’s song you should avoid before an exam

“PinkFong Shark Family” is a children’s song animation made in 2015 by the internet service company Smartstudy, and quickly became a hit among young children for its cute and colorful shark characters.

 

In 2016, the song topped the list of most viewed videos on Youtube and three major domestic streaming sites’ children’s song charts at the same time. “PinkFong Shark Family” is not a wholly original creation, however, as Smartstudy remixed a front part of Dvorak’s Symphony No.9 ‘From the New World’ with its own melody and made a new version of the “Shark Family” song which is already famous worldwide.

 

The biggest reason for the songs popularity is its pure addictiveness, which as earned it a title as "a song you should never listen to before an exam" because of the ability of the lyrics and melody to stick in your mind.
