You don’t want to waste food, do you?

Buffet style dining is popular in Korea. There are a very wide array of buffet restaurants, with a vast gap between the cheapest ones and the most expensive ones. Anyhow, many Koreans go to buffet restaurants, enjoy as much food as they can eat, and leave on their plates as much food as they cannot eat. In many buffer restaurants, usually low-priced ones, you can see notices posted on the walls or tables, begging the customers not to waste food and warning the customers of the penalty to be charged for the wasted food. It seems very unlikely, though, that any restaurant would actually charge their customers any penalty, or the food-wasting customers try to change their attitude.
